1. Who we are

The Memory Shield (thememoryshield.com) is operated by Miguel Hernandez, based in Spain. For any privacy question or request, contact info@thememoryshield.com.

2. What we collect

When you sign up for a free guide or the newsletter, we collect your email address (and name, if you provide one) through forms powered by Kit, our email service provider.

We do not run analytics or advertising trackers on this site. Our hosting provider (Bluehost) and CDN/security provider (Cloudflare) may set minimal technical cookies necessary to serve the site securely — these are not used to track you across other sites.

3. Why we collect it

To send you the guide or resource you requested, and — if you opt in — occasional emails about brain health research and site updates.

4. Legal basis

Your consent (GDPR Art. 6(1)(a)), given when you submit a form. You can withdraw consent at any time by unsubscribing.

5. Who else sees it

Your email data is stored and processed by Kit (kit.com), acting as our data processor under GDPR. Kit's Data Processing Agreement and Standard Contractual Clauses govern the transfer of your data outside the EU/EEA. We do not sell or share your data with anyone else.

6. How long we keep it

Until you unsubscribe or request deletion, whichever comes first.

7. Your rights

Under GDPR, you have the right to access, correct, delete, restrict, or export your data, and to withdraw consent at any time. To exercise any of these, email info@thememoryshield.com. You also have the right to lodge a complaint with the Spanish data protection authority (Agencia Española de Protección de Datos, aepd.es).

8. Changes

We'll update this page if what we collect or how we use it changes.
